May is a Busy Month!

Hi Parents and Families! May is a busy month as we are coming to a close on the school year! The following are a few dates to mark on your calendar:

Spring Concert: May 11

Please have your students in the auditorium no later than 6:30 p.m., wearing a solid, spring colored top and dark jeans, skirt or pants on the bottom. The concert starts t 7:00 p.m., hope to see you there!

Amgen Bike Tour- NO SCHOOL: May 14

Due to the high traffic and road closures from the Amgen Bike Tour, there will be no school or crosswalk on Monday, May 14.

4th Quarter Character Trait Chapel: May 15

We will honor the following students during our character trait chapel in Monschke Hall at 2:15 p.m.:

Cole, Ellie, Gianna, Leah, Jason, Ava and Jack

Book Fair: May 11-18

Our Spring book fair will be held in the library, come check-out some great reads!

April 30- May 4

Hi Parents, Families and Friends! We are finally through with our week of testing, your students did an amazing job staying focused and doing their best! A couple of things to look forward to this week:

President's Award Testing in Gym Class

Ms. Murdock will be testing each student on their ability to complete certain activities this week in gym. It would be really helpful if some parents could help volunteer in-order for the testing to run as smoothly as possible. Our class will be testing on Monday and Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m.-9:50 a.m. Please come to the gym if you can help!

Sea-Life Presentations

Each student will be giving a short presentation on their sea-life project this week. Presentations will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!

April 16-April 20

Welcome back from spring break! I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable time off! We have a busy fourth quarter and it won't be long before summer is here! We are preparing for the Terra-Nova test which will begin next week. We will have scheduled testing throughout each day beginning next Monday through Friday (April 23-April 27). Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a good breakfast. Ocean life projects went home today, please let me know if you have any questions regarding you child's project, the projects are due April 27th. Have a great week!

Please make sure to send your child to school with a bag lunch. We will be eating after our time at the museum prior to returning to school. Also, please plan to have your student at school by 8:15 a.m. so we can be on the road by 8:45 a.m. Thank you!
